January Lightspe

Pushing ahead with a few new features, loyalty appears to be getting an upgrade to bring it closer to the features available via 3rd party solutions (like Marsello).

Lightspeed eCom which I used originally when it was Vend and found to be very basic feature wise - I have not tried the newer version so will do some reading. They have added store pickup features to their muli-outlet inventory system - however, unfortunately the link at the bottom of the page “For further information on the eCom integration, refer to our eCom section.” currently resolves to a 404.

Lightspeed report for gets an update to allow you to be notified when registers open and close - which is not enabled on my phone yet. [UPDATE 02FEB - this now appears available on my phone]. It would be nice if you had the option for “Register Closure Discrepancy” so you only get notified if the register closes with a balance difference.

As with most updates from Lightspeed basic Dev. information like when then this is rolling out is missing.
